One of the things I like about having a work from home business is the opportunity to attract new prospects simply by writing articles and eBooks. I believe youll see that even if you arent crazy about this idea at first glance the leverage it generates will prove irresistible.

In a nutshell; leverage allows us to achieve far greater results for our time, efforts, and resources than things done conventionally. It's all about working smarter and not harder.

One key element of any work from home business is attracting prospects. I'd like to discuss two new methods of attracting prospects that employs leverage in a big way.

Over the years business has developed lots of methods to reach out to people with the intention of turning as many of them into prospects as possible. Among the many methods of advertising we are familiar with are: Print, radio, media, internet.

Anyone who has ever worked with advertising knows you often pay a lot of money for it and you never really know whether you'll get a decent return for the cost.

Another problem is that people are so bombarded with advertising we've become immune to it. This is especially true if the advertiser seems to be trying to force feed their message to us.

These days, one of the best strategies you can start using is to establish your credibility with prospects before you even consider marketing to them. Claims made about your product or service without the information that backs those claims up will be dismissed faster than you can blink.

As we have discussed in other articles today's consumer or clients want pertinent information and value up front. Once you demonstrate your desire to educate and provide value the person looking for your product will begin to listen.

So, just how can you generate creditability to the marketplace?

Glad you asked. The internet is going thru a transformation as it relates to marketing. The transformation is referred to as Web 2.0.

Web 2.0 is all about offering the information and value to prospects up front in an effort to develop relationships that can eventually be turned into long lasting business relationships.

Two of the best ways to immerse yourself in this trend and begin building your credibility in your marketplace is by writing articles about your field and giving that material away for others to publish out to the World Wide Web.

Although there is a time investment, it can be otherwise done at zero cost. By writing articles and submitting them to the websites which spread them around the web universe you are generating free publicity for yourself.

When writing articles like these remember they are NOT about your particular product or service and they are not sales letters. Your goal is to be noticed and to add value to people who are looking for information. If you do a good job these folks often will follow a link you've included in your submission back to your website or email address.

Those are opportunities to further expose them to your self as a trusted advisor.

Another successful tactic is to use the link to direct them to your 'squeeze or opt in or capture page' to collect their email address. By doing that you can begin to email them more valuable information about your field and about the benefits your work from home business product or service can provide.

These articles once published can end up listed on Goggle and other search engines.?The beauty of writing them is the ongoing leverage they can provide. That's because you do the work once and they can continue to generate Leads and Prospects for weeks or even months!

If you want to build your credibility to an even higher level; consider writing an eBook.

There are many cases of people gaining instant credibility in their field simply by publishing an eBook. Anyone can 'publish' and deliver a book thanks to the internet! ?

Writing an eBook is simply compiling a series of your articles into a single document. You could even sell your eBook to help offset other forms of marketing you do.

By writing articles or an eBook to publish on the net you can have prospects for your work from home business pursuing you  rather than you chasing them. Not only will that be a huge welcome relief in terms of your time and stress, but it will greatly enhance your posture in the relationship.
