St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) February 22, 2008 -- The military-to-civilian recruiting firm RecruitMilitary will present a free hiring event for job seekers who have military backgrounds in St. Louis on Tuesday, March 4. More than 20 veteran-friendly organizations will conduct one-on-one interviews with the job seekers -- organizations that will include corporate employers, law-enforcement agencies and other government employers, educational institutions, veterans service agencies, and veterans associations. Already in the line-up are Bally Total Fitness, EC III, Little Caesars, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Military Sealift Command, the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Oldcastle Architectural Products Group, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Target Distribution, The Home Depot, True Manufacturing, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Veterans Benefits Administration, Wackenhut Corporation and Walgreens.

Aren't You Ready To Work At Home? I'm not sure what my neighbors think, though I know they cast odd looks at me. They know I'm a single mom with kids to support, and they see me leave every morning to drop my kids off at school. However, as soon as I have my children distributed at their various schools, I turn right around and come home. My car sits parked in the driveway, and I leave for a few hours a week just to run an errand or meet friends for lunch. I am not wealthy, and I did not inherit money or receive a giant alimony settlement! I am responsible for supporting myself, and my kids in a decent neighborhood by good schools.
