Burst Scores Integration Work in Denver and Texas
Denver, CO (PRWEB) February 15, 2008 - Burst was recently awarded integration contracts with the City and County of Denver and with KNCT-TV, the PBS-affiliate at Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas.
Burst will replace current production infrastructure at Denver 8 TV, including the construction of two new "mirrored" control rooms to significantly enhance the station's production capabilities at the City and County of Denver's downtown Civic Center location. Burst will provide all equipment, install and commission the system, and train city employees to use the facilities. The Burst installation will support 11 remotely controlled robotic cameras as well as maintain manually operated camera capabilities. It will extend a fiber infrastructure to accommodate more productions in more places, including a second, nearby municipal office building.
Burst was also awarded the contract for the turnkey digital master control system at KNCT-TV, the PBS-affiliate at Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. KNCT-TV serves as a laboratory facility for students enrolled in the Radio Television Broadcasting Program at Central Texas College. Burst will design the turnkey system, purchase the equipment, complete the installation and manage implementation. The project will be completed in summer of 2008.
About KNCT: NCT is the Central Texas PBS affiliate. It is located on the main campus at Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. Its mission is to provide quality programming to viewers and to serve as a laboratory facility for students enrolled in the Radio Television Broadcasting Program of Central Texas College. The station has a coverage which includes Waco and Austin Texas. KNCT has severed Central Texas for 38 years.
