JobDud.com: New Career Resource Site Allows Recent Graduates to Talk Freely About Jobs
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 29, 2008 -- JobDud.com (http://www.jobdud.com) launched a beta of their job resource site. JobDud takes job hunting to the next level by providing visitors with a sense of a company's culture from the inside. "One thing I really wanted to know when I started applying for jobs was what to expect from a company," says co-founder Tommy Chheng. JobDud invites users to review their jobs, past and present, to help others who are searching for work. "Everyone has something to say about their job." With a large, growing database of user-submitted reviews, visitors will be able to find jobs and work environments that fit their needs and tastes. "People want to know which companies to avoid and which companies to concentrate on when applying for a job," says co-founder Vance Tran. "They don't want to waste their time applying to hostile work environments when that energy can be focused elsewhere."
Easy, No-Signup, Anonymous Reviews:
Posting reviews to JobDud is easy and anonymous. Users don't even have to signup for an account. "Visitors have so many other usernames and passwords to remember, we didn't want to burden people with yet another login," explains Chheng. "The lack of a username and password also lends itself to the anonymous nature of our reviews," Tran added. "We want people to be as open and honest as possible about their jobs."
Partnership With Indeed.com:
Indeed is the most comprehensive search engine for jobs. Their service scans for job listings from popular job sites including Monster, Dice, CareerJournal to even local job postings. "We have chosen a partnership with Indeed.com because our research shows their service provides most relevant job matches given a search query," says Tommy Chheng. Users can search for their own keywords or view the available jobs on each company page. This way, users can see job listings and job reviews side by side to determine if a job matches their persona.
