Clovis: Washingtonian Magazine's "Great Places to Work"

Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) October 31, 2007 -- Clovis has been recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Washington DC metropolitan area's "Great Places to Work" in 2007. Chosen from more than 225 candidate submissions, the search and staffing firm is delighted to be a first time recipient of this acknowledgment. The 9 year old award, bestowed biannually since 1999, honors organizations that are employee-driven and remarkably successful.

Clovis was one of five companies featured in the "Who Pays Very Well" category of the article and was selected based on its "good pay and benefits, interesting work, employee recognition, collegial staffs and flexibility." Founding Partner Rick Levine said "Clovis employees are extremely hard workers, and we believe in fairly compensating their efforts, as well as rewarding people in various ways. It's a very work hard/play hard type of environment here." In honor of this distinction and the daily contribution Clovis employees bring to the firm's success, the Partners celebrated by bringing in an omelet chef to cook up individual breakfast creations for all employees.

The "Great Places to Work" list was compiled through a series of nominations, surveys and in person interviews with the magazine's editorial staff. Clovis was also one of an even smaller number of the organizations recognized with a full page photo. The November issue of the magazine, featuring this article, is currently available on newsstands.
